We have a lot of freedom as Christians in Jesus Christ. Because He patiently shows and encourages us how to break down barriers that stand in our way, the longer we walk with Him, the more freedom we will feel. This is why we must avoid being engrossed with trivial matters. Many Christians would prefer dispute and argue about minor issues than walk in the truth that they already know. Instead, we should be completely convinced of what we believe to be true in our hearts and decide that everything we do is for the Lord. The difference is the state of the heart.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him," Paul remarked in Colossians ( Colossians 3:17 ). What a difference a different point of view can make. It doesn't matter what you do if you don't have the correct motivation. If your heart isn't clean, what good is it to serve as a missionary in a foreign nation and devote your entire income to feed the poor? The Lord examines people's souls to see what drives them to act in certain ways. Similarly, seemingly trivial tasks performed with pure motivations please the Lord because they reveal a changed heart that is warm and responsive to His kingdom.
We simply choose to treat whatever we do in front of God as worship, and we encourage others to do the same. We are not our own property; rather, we are God's." As a result, we belong to the Lord whether we live or die." We will be able to continue walking in truth once we understand this. "For the kingdom of God is not about eating and drinking, but about righteousness, peace, and delight in the Holy Spirit," Paul declared ( Romans 14:17 ). These are the goals and objectives we should strive for. We will understand and perceive those things in action better if we focus on fewer little details.
I'm grateful that God examines a person's heart from the inside rather than the outside. He explains this to us by saying,“The LORD is not interested in the things that people are interested in. The LORD looks at the heart, while man looks at the outward appearance.” (I Samuel 16:7; I Samuel 16:8; I Samuel 16:9; I Samuel This has been the case from the outset. Today, I pray that you make the decision in your heart to be soft and malleable before the Lord, rather than getting caught up in outer appearances or what you do or don’t do. “As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man,” says Proverbs ( Proverbs 27:19 ). “For out of the overflow of his heart his tongue speaks,” Jesus said ( Luke 6:45 ). If we work on purifying our hearts and aligning our motives, our behaviors will mirror the state of our hearts. May this fact bless and release you, knowing that you can use whatever you do for the Lord’s glory, amen!
