Don't get me wrong: I'm not advocating avoiding dealing with mental health concerns. While I believe we serve a God who can heal chemical imbalances and the pain of past trauma (and He can in some cases), I also believe we live in a fallen world where the consequences will continue to be felt until Jesus returns. But what I mean is that God will provide you with the strength you require to tackle that battle on a daily basis. It's fine if you utilize medication or seek professional help in addition to relying on God's strength, as I do. That's not to suggest that God isn't enough.

God comforts Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 that His grace is sufficient for the thorn in his body. His power is refined in his frailty. God will use our weaknesses for His glory; all we have to do is trust Him and choose to rely on faith. Life is just too short, and God has far too much work on his hands, for us to be special. Those who follow Jesus will have a life full of joy, tranquility, and mental and emotional vigor. On a regular basis, however, we offer trust based on fear rather than trust.
