History
The Fenrir Wolf is an Asgardian beast said to be the spawn of Loki and Angerboda, the colossal. It's a gigantic wolf (typically 15 feet tall) with human-like intelligence, great strength, and the capacity to shrink to the size of a genuine wolf or morph into the shape of a deity. Haakun the Hunter banished Fenris to Varinheim before it reached maturity, after it threatened Iduna, the keeper of the gods' Golden Apples of Immortality. Though Woden was worshiped, there is insufficient evidence of his cult to tell whether it was practiced by all Teutonic tribes or to make conclusions about the god's character. Odin was the most important god in Scandinavia near the end of the pre-Christian period, according to later literary sources.
Each time, they built a thicker, stronger iron chain, but Fenris smashed them all. Finally, Odin entrusted the creation of an enchanted fetter to one of the Dwarves. Gleipnir, a thin, silk-like substance with remarkable tenacity, was created by the dwarf. When the gods persuaded Fenris, the wolf-god, to try to break the connection, he knew the fragile-looking substance was a ruse. Only if a deity was willing to put his hand in the wolf's mouth as a symbol of trust would Fenris agree to allow him to tie it up. If the links proved impenetrable and the gods would not honor their promise and free him, Fenris would bite. Among the gods gathering for this purpose, only Tyr, the valiant god of war, was willing to make such a sacrifice. Tyr slipped his right hand between the wolf's gigantic fangs as the shackles were being put on, and when Fenris saw that the more he struggled, the tighter the ties were drawn, it chewed Tyr's hand off.

Fenris was then bound to a rock, where it is still today. Fenris is fabled to consume Odin when Ragnarok, the Asgardian gods' twilight, approaches. Fenris was killed in the final Ragnarök, but what his death means to the Asgardians is unknown.
Rebirth
When Thor interrupted the unending cycle of Ragnarok, Fenris, like many other Asgardians, was reincarnated into the new Asgard universe back on Midgard. The specifics of its fate, as well as its recent activities on Earth, are unknown.
X-Factor
Later, while pregnant with Wolf Prince Hrimhari, a descendent of mutant Wolfsbane, Fenris aided mutant Wolfsbane. Cerberus, in his wolf-like shape, is one of many mythological creatures chasing after the child. Later on, he battled a variety of animals, including the Cu Sith Devil Dog, which he chewed on. The battle went on until Hela's supernatural energy expelled all of the creatures.
Powers and Abilities
Shapeshifting: The Fenris Wolf has demonstrated a wide range of metamorphosis skills.
Anthropomorphism: It can take the form of an enormously powerful and virtually indestructible large wolf or a person that looks like a wolf. In this form, it bears ferocious fangs and claws.
Size Alteration: It can become larger and stronger with each passing second and/or with each combat it engages in. Both its quadrupedal and humanoid forms will become more powerful after intense encounters if given enough time to mature. According to legend, it is supposed to grow so large that it will engulf Asgard's sun whole, as it did during Ragnarok's climactic battle.
Digestive Shapeshifting: After being investigated by AIM, Fenris discovered that it can take on the guise of individuals it has eaten for at least 24 hours after eating them, making it a literal "wolf in sheep's clothing."
Superhuman Strength: Fenris is monstrously powerful, capable of lifting hundreds of tons with ease. It has shown to be more powerful than even the Mighty Thor himself, and with time and patience, it will grow much larger, improving its already unequaled strength and longevity.
Superhuman Speed
Superhuman Agility
Superhuman Stamina: Over the years, Fenris has shown incredible physical endurance. presented himself as being able to fight the Mighty Thor for days on end without showing any symptoms of tiredness
Super-humanly Acute Senses: When compared to some creatures, both natural and legendary in origin, Fenris' senses are substantially enhanced. It has better vision and hearing than most Midgard creatures, and it can even recognize and track its prey only by scent.
Godlike Invulnerability: Unlike the vast majority of Asgardians and Asgardian creatures of burden. Fenris was and continues to be impervious to most affronts to its person, taking and sustaining damage only from the Marvel Universe's most powerful Heavyweights. Only a few supernatural beings or objects, such as Thor or Odin, have been known to accomplish this feat.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Likewise, if Fenris is seriously injured in any way, whether in battle or otherwise. It has a regenerative healing feature that allows it to restore even the most severe wounds in seconds, in addition to godlike endurance and stamina. It's still unknown whether it can reattach or regenerate biological tissues that have been damaged beyond repair.

Notes
Fenris (son of Loki, father of the Wolf Gods) might be either masculine or female (mother of Sturm and Drang).
Trivia
Its attack on Idunn provided the inspiration for the folk tale of Little Red Riding Hood. It is one of just a few persons who are claimed to be more powerful than Dormammu, the others being galactic creatures such as The Beyonder.

The Norse God, Fenrir is a monstrous wolf who was feared by Viking and their enemies alike. He is the son of Loki and the giantess Angrboda. Fenrir has been prophesied to kill Odin at Ragnarok, which will bring about an end to the world as we know it. In order to prevent this from happening, Odin had Fenrir bound with Gleipnir in hopes that he would remain imprisoned for eternity. However, many Vikings believed that Fenrir could not be contained forever and even if he were put down now he would eventually rise again because of his destiny as one of the most powerful beings on Earth.
